October Health Campaign: Our Hong Kong headquarters collaborates with Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness on breast cancer prevention
In October of every year, we come together to support the well-being of our colleagues and communities worldwide, while also raising awareness on breast cancer and its prevention. At our Li & Fung headquarters in Hong Kong, we collaborated with the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation to hold a wellness talk and share valuable knowledge on the topic. Our colleagues gathered dressed in pink, signifying their support for this critical matter.
The importance of raising awareness for breast cancer cannot be overstated. According to global statistics, one in eight women is susceptible to developing breast cancer in their lifetime. However, early detection through screening tests, such as mammography, can increase the chances of survival. The sooner breast cancer is detected, the higher the likelihood of successful treatment. It is crucial to spread the word on breast cancer awareness and empower individuals to take proactive steps to protect their health.
We appreciate the partnership with the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation and applaud their dedication to this cause, promoting breast cancer education and providing support to patients and their families.
