LF Logistics, a leading logistics services provider under Fung Group, took part in the China International Consumer Products Expo (“Hainan Expo”) held from 7 – 10 May 2021. Taking a dual role of an exhibitor and service provider, LF Logistics is showcasing its future-ready digital supply chain solutions and providing one-stop services for the event, including exhibit transportation, warehouse management, and customs clearance to ensure the smooth handling of materials for the exhibition, demonstrating its full-fledged services and capabilities.

Dominic Gates, President of LF Logistics, said, “As the first international consumer products expo held in Hainan, the Hainan Expo is an important platform to boost international cooperation and trade between domestic and foreign companies across the world. This is a great opportunity for LF Logistics to showcase its smart digital supply chain solutions and focus on promoting the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.”

A dual role of an exhibitor and service provider of comprehensive supply chain management solutions and services

LF Logistics’ booth showcases its innovative solutions covering a wide spectrum of services including global freight management, warehousing and fulfillment, transportation management, e-commerce, and vendor compliance. Customers across different industry sectors can explore its end-to-end smart logistics services to increase efficiency across their supply chains.

As one of the official freight forwarders of the Expo, LF Logistics also offered their services to exhibitors of the Expo including luxury brands, fashion, cosmetics, clothing and household goods in Hall 5. To ensure smooth customs clearance and timely execution, LF Logistics leveraged its global service network to provide door-to-door supply chain services, developed a bilingual exhibitor manual, and provided goods supply and stock support for consumer brands.

Optimistic about Hainan’s future, LF Logistics signed cooperation agreement to build Global Consumer Boutique Center in Hainan to deepen its presence in the region

At the expo, LF Logistics signed a cooperation agreement with Hainan Development Holdings Co., Ltd to jointly build Global Consumer Boutique Center in Hainan, an important step in support of the Hainan Free Trade Port and facilitating consumption by tourists in the region.  Located in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the center aims to provide a world-class trading platform with the most ideal trade policies and incentives, further supporting the development of Hainan’s economy.

LF Logistics has always been committed to Hainan’s business development and continues to deepen its local presence. In October 2020, the LF Logistics team visited the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau and had in-depth discussions with government officials on the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Both parties exchanged ideas on building up a distribution center for high-end consumer goods from multiple retail platforms and channels such as bonded and tax-free e-commerce. During the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE), the team met with the Hainan government delegation to discuss its cooperation for Hainan Expo. In December 2020, LF Logistics and the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Hainan Duty Free Market Business Development Forum. The two parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in the Hainan supply chain industry and jointly promote the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Moving forward, LF Logistics will continue to expand their local footprint and introduce innovative technologies and smart platforms, contributing to the advancement of logistics facilities in the Hainan Free Trade Port. In addition, LF Logistics will leverage its global resources and business networks to seize new opportunities and realize their goal of becoming the go-to supply chain service provider in Hainan.
